This is a really good read - a page-turner of the first order. I can't go into detail without giving too much away. I didn't really like the main character's affliction - I don't think he would have got away with it in the sewers, without dying of some infection , but the story rose above it. Also I was so wrapped up in the love interest - and it wasn't what you'd expect, that I had to sneak a peak at the end to make sure that Tom got his girl, before being able to read the last third of the story...
